"We did this in January, which is the best time to see the manatees. They come in from the gulf waters to the warmer waters (about 74 degrees year round) of the springs. Since the water is always the same temperature, it doesn't matter when you go, but the water is usually clearer in the winter and you are more likely to see calves with their mothers as well. They provide wetsuits if you don't have your own, and the boat was heated so the ride back was very comfortable. They also provided snacks and drinks, as well as interpretive information on the animals. Definitely worth the time and money!"

"We were treated to a customized tour of Crystal River with our dogs. Captain Mark was fun and professional at the same time.
We snorkelled with Manatees which was the main goal of the outing but we also were treated to other wildlife spotting including otters, bald eagle, pelicans and egrets.Captain Mark offered suggestions of where to go (Stopped in at the Crab Plant for Smoked Mullet Dip and Stone Crabs) but also took us for a closer look at places we pointed out."

"If you keep a bucket list check off manatee adventure if you go with this tour. I went with my adult daughters who are in their twenties. It was personalized in that only our group was on the boat. Captain Greg was a jovial, informative and safety conscious leader of the tour. His assistant, Leah, was a guide who took videos and pictures. If you follow their direction you will encounter many manatees. Their kindness made this adventure extra special."
